The government should provide credit guarantee to banks for sharing the risk of disbursing loans to all cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs) under the stimulus package, said a senior banker on Saturday evening. He said, "The funds from the stimulus package, declared by the government, have been distributed through the banking channel while both credit and collection risks will lie with the banks."
