Flood situation in several parts of the country continued to worsens taking death toll to 100 on Friday in the three and half week long flood that has marooned one third of Bangladeshis so far. Seven people died in last twenty four hours between Thursday noon to Friday noon by drowning and snakebites in the flood affected districts, according to the National Disaster Response Coordination Center (NDRRC). Of the victims, two died in Tangail and two in Sirajganj on Friday by drowning. NDRRC recorded a total of 100 deaths between June 30 to July 24 due to the flood that hit 26 districts so far.
