Responsibility

Assistant Banquets & Events Manager shall be the representative of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka to ensure 5 Star Standard Banquets & Events arrangement with operational excellence and focusing on exceptional food and beverage experience to every guest and maximizing department profitability and handle every issues efficiently, courteously and professionally. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:

Assist Event Manager to ensure high standard of Banquet Services and coordinate with the F&B Catering Sales Team in understanding their insights and opinions regarding client's demand and maintain high standard of service quality.

Provide new business ideas and help Assistant Director of Food & Beverage so that revenue can be increased and guest satisfaction index become higher than the existing.

Forecast and controls Banquets Revenue on weekly, monthly and yearly basis as well as Controls operational expenses, budgeted F&B Cost, Payroll and other related expenses.

Coordinate with event management agencies to ensure smooth installation and dismantling of extra decorations/setup from the banquet halls in line with banquet terms and conditions document.

Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.

Advise and control stewarding in all matters of mise-en-place, cleaning, schedules, washing procedures and consumption of detergents. Establish HACCP policies in his/her own work area.

Ensure creation, development and maintenance of a competent, motivated and empowered banquet staff pool.

Any other lawful assignment given by the competent authority as and when requirement basis.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate from reputed overseas or domestic University.
