Rasheda Akhter struggled to get a look at the macaws as her toddler Rakibul was unwilling to move from the stall of rainbow budgerigars. The chirping of the colourful little birds captivated the child. They were among hundreds of visitors at the daylong “Pet Bird, Pigeon and Pet Animal Fair” at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) in Chattogram city on Saturday. “We look forward to this fair every year. Being animal lovers, it has been a great place to visit for both me and my son for the last couple of years,” said Rasheda.
