Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) today said radiation emitted by mobile phone towers is well below the World Health Organization's (WHO) permissible limit and is not harmful to human health or the environment. The commission surveyed telecom tower sites in six divisional headquarters and found no harmful radiation at any of the sites.
