Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit Chief Monirul Islam today said the Jamaat-Shibir activists are engaged in carrying out attacks after being angered by the police actions. “Many Jamaat-Shibir activists have joined militant group “Neo-JMB” and they have anger on police. Besides, international militant outfits are also instructing their followers to carry out attacks on law enforcers,” Monirul said. Monirul was talking to reporters at his office in Dhaka over the attack on police at Science Laboratory intersection on Saturday.
