A rape case was filed against Jakaria Noman Fayezi, publicity secretary of Hefajat-e-Islam's now dissolved committee in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram early today. Abdullah Al Masum, additional superintendent of Chattogram Police confirmed the matter to The Daily Star. The victim filed the case with Hathazari Model Police Station.
