A court in Narayanganj today sent Bashir Ullah, general secretary of Hefajat-e-Islam's Narayanganj district unit, to jail in five cases filed over violence in Narayanganj during the March 28 hartal enforced by the group. Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Fahmida Khatun passed the order after a team from Sidhdhirganj Police Station produced him before the court this noon,
