National Award winning music director Farid Ahmed passed away today at 9:30 am at the capital's Square Hospital. The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by renowned lyricist and his close friend, Farida Farhana. He was shifted there from the Intensive Care Unit of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital.
