India had another record single-day jump of 26,506 Covid-19 cases, pushing the total so far to 7,93,802, the health ministry data showed today. The death toll in the last 24 hours till this morning mounted to 21,604 with 475 new fatalities. The Indian government continued to maintain that there is any community transmission of the virus taking place in the country.
