The local government ministry has suspended vice-chairman of Tangail district's Sadar upazila for his alleged involvement in obstructing relief distribution and assaulting a project implementation officer. The local government division took the punitive action against Nazmul Huda, vice-chairman of the Sadar upazila and issued a notification in this regard yesterday.
