Music industry of Bangladesh was quite exciting and filled with celebrations in 2019. Two of the major bands-Miles and Artcell celebrated their 40 years anniversary and 20 years anniversary respectively. Many big rock concerts took place which saw huge turn-out.Heavy metal band Trainwreck performed in Germany, and they also performed in other shows in India and Nepal. Rock musicians and fans were excited as Azam Khan received posthumous Ekushey Padak which established a new path way for the rock music industry.On the other hand, internationally acclaimed Bangladeshi singer Runa Laila composed and released a new album featuring seasoned musicians of Indian Sub-Continent.Dhaka Tribune's Showtime looks back at some of the phenomenal events and achievements of the countrys music industry in 2019.
