Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy.
Develop, Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, maintain a media database and collate analytics and metrics.
Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand and coordinate publicity events as required.
Write content for both print and Web, including the company website, blog, brochures, and newsletter.
Plan and implement a communications strategy.
Monitor the company's social media and online presence.
Organize and direct promotional events.
Recommend techniques to improve the company's public image.
Ensure all promotional and marketing materials meet the company's brand identity strategy.
Identify and resolve any issues with promotional content promptly and professionally.
Serve as a point of contact for media and public questions.
Assess and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
Ensure that all communications and marketing material align with brand standards
Maintain digital media archives, including photos and videos
Work with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns.
Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications.
Develop escalation protocols for managing communication crises, should they arise
Answers questions from employees and company managers, and media outlets as well.
Manages contracts and relationships with vendors and business partners.
Maintains a calendar of assigned projects and deadlines.
Delivers written and verbal communications by designated deadlines.
Educates staff members on communication processes.
Develops internal company newsletters for employees, vendors & business partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public relations, Journalism or any related field.
