Responsibility

The Sr. Programme Officer will support in the planning, implementing, coordinating, and following up IHL activities of BDRCS in close coordination with IR department. The incumbent will also play vital role to mainstream IHL into various programmes and within the organizational priority of BDRCS. S/he will also support capacity development of the staff and volunteer on IHL and build innovative partnership with relevant stakeholders including ICRC.

Furthermore, Sr. Programme Officer will provide regular programmatic and operational support to ensure timely and effective implementation in line with the agreed activities, work plan, and budget. S/he will also liaise with relevant departments. The post holder will also ensure that all activities are aligning with BDRCS standing order.

Reportable To: In-Charge, International Relations Department.

Duration of contract: 12 months (with possibility of extension).

Duty Station: National Head Quarters, Dhaka.
