Responsibility
Lead the Core Systems Team to ensure target uptime and system availability for all banking systems and hardware as per business requirements;
Manage and maintain a multiplatform RISC/Intel-based server infrastructure running on diverse operating systems, storage and SAN systems, hardware load balancers, virtualization platform, network and transactional host security modules (HSM);
Maintain high availability of all the core systems;
Organize and practice Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery process of the bank for all the hardware, services, and systems under Core Systems Operations;
Own the overall operations and functions of Core Systems of the organization;
Plan core system management function through proper resources considering technology and business roadmap of the organization;
Manage vendors and partners to ensure organizational goal;
Maintain all core system hardware, devices, systems, and software as per organization policy and adapt to changes in policy and practices as required;
Ensure the best practices in all core system hardware, devices, systems, and software to maintain a secured and compliant environment for the bank;
Prepare budget and manage procurement life cycle as per the roadmap for core system hardware, devices, systems, and software;
Ensure bank's adaption to new technologies and systems as per global, national and organizational policy to ensure cost efficiency and better service to internal and external customers;
Ensure all the core systems and hardware are running as per bank's information security guidelines, policies, and procedures to minimize operational risks and vulnerabilities;
Plan and design upcoming solutions to meet the existing and upcoming requirements of the organization by ensuring scalability, cost, and operational efficiency and system security;
Analyze usage and performance of the existing systems and perform necessary changes and requirement analysis to predict future change requirement and take necessary action;
Plan and change the IT infrastructure and systems according to the future requirements of the bank;
Manage, build, and improve human resources of the team;
Ability to lead a dynamic team independently;
