  • Major Responsibilities:
  • A. Planning and Implementation:
  • Prepare periodic individual and project STI and HTS workplan through coordination with team leader.
  • Prepare periodic medicine and HTS equipment’s requisition with the support of service center managers
  • Planning for safe and healthy environment on clinical issues.
  • B. Identify, Analyze and design:
  • Develop the STI health Card and clinic services guideline following the National STI Management Guideline as per minimum standard of STI management.
  • Adopt and implement feedback mechanism on STI sessions from the beneficiaries; analyze those and take necessary action to increase their level of satisfaction
  • Compile and analyze monthly STI data from all Service centers and identify the Complicated STI and ensure the services form outside referral.
  • Maintain list of referral centers and ensure follow-up of all referral patrons.
  • C. Staff Development and Capacity Building:
  • Promote continuous quality improvement of STI and HTS services at Service centers.
  • Ensure compliance of national STI clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Conduct orientation session among the medical assistant for their capacity development on health services as per STI clinical guideline.
  • On the job training to all medical assistants and counselor for standard STI and HTS services.
  • Facilitate session in training program for the service providers and internal clinical staffs.
  • D. Monitoring and Data quality assessment:
  • Ensure that all service centers have medicines and clinical equipment’s including HTS in good condition and functional as per guideline.
  • Ensure that all service centers maintain and provide quality health services to project participants.
  • Maintain and regular monitor the all-consumable items with expire date & take necessary steps if require.
  • Regular/periodic visit to the clinics, observe and ensure that the services are provided as planned and in line with the guideline and conduct quality assurance and quality improvement (QAQI) visit to improve the quality of services.
  • Develop the client exit interview tools and conduct the random basis conduct client exit interview in all clinic.
  • Conduct Quality Management System and Scan following Quality Assurance Checklist to all service delivery points to evaluate clinical quality including the issues related to providers of services; health systems and services to identify area for improvement.
  • Develop the Universal Procuration guideline following minimum standard guideline available in the country and ensure the proper implementation at all clinic under Service Center.
  • Regular the monitor the STI clinic and ensure the Auto Calving, Incineration process and Medical Waste management at Service Center.
  • Monitor the all HTS test kits storage and availability with expire date and maintained DBS (Dry Blood Sample) card of blood sample for EQA (External Quality Assurance).
  • Check if services are recorded correctly in the appropriate forms/register.
  • Regular coordination with Service center Manager, HTC team and provide feedback
  • E Reporting
  • Prepare periodic STI and HTS analytical report and submit to the team leader.
  • Prepare the quality assurance and quality improvement (QAQI) report to the program team for taken further action to improvement.
  • Assist the Team Leader to produce the project reports regarding HTS and STI service-related narrative and analytical report.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
  • Candidates who have MPH will get preference for this position.
