The primary role played by the incumbent is to develop concept notes, project proposals, budget for funding opportunities individually and jointly in a team and assist in formulating programme strategies by incorporating the knowledge from on-going programme activities within IDP and in other programmes.
He/she would build up the Knowledge Management Unit of IDP and contribute in programme design, review and documentation of lessons learned for improved programme quality.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Qualifications
Masters in any discipline from any recognised university. Candidates having major in Sociology/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Political Science/ Economics/ Social Welfare/ Agriculture Science/ Marketing will be given preference. Any professional degree relating to development sector is preferable.
