Responsibility

  • Responsible for procurement of materials & services to meet day-to-day operational needs by sourcing from local & foreign being cost effectiveness while maintaining quality, standards, delivery targets and lead time.
  • Carry out all procurement from both local & foreign sources in accordance with company policies & requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining procurement database/records, including softcopy, and other systems whilst ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Develop, own and maintain a supplier's network, ensure suppliers are accredited on to the supplier database and are aligned with the companies Ethics, Code of Conduct.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage existing and potential supply of materials and services to meet the cost, quality and delivery targets;
  • Ensure the materials availability to meet construction schedules, quality standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Review and segregate all requisitions as per product category and allocate it to concern team.
  • Create an action plan (short term & long term) for all major procurement tasks and follow-up regularly in order to meet end user requirement.
  • Lead, manage, develop, and appraise the procurement team, ensure high productivity & on time procurement of right product with right quality and price.
  • Negotiate with vendors / suppliers to ensure right price without compromising quality.
  • Establish procurement policy, followed by local & international in all procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with user department / Engineers & store for routine material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Follow-up with suppliers on invoice disputes, warranty of products or returned materials.
  • Nurturing relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices.
  • Preparing weekly / monthly report as per requirement.
  • Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • PGDSCM will get preference
  • Preferred Professional Certification: NLP
  • Skills Required: analytical and decision making ability, Communication and Negotiation Skill
  • Experience Requirement

  • 3 to 7 year(s)
