Responsibility

  • Supports strategies for department.
  • Communicate with Kitchen regarding the banquet event and food requirements.
  • Making Banquet Event Order and distributing among all concerned departments.
  • Directly working with banquet team when needed.
  • Develops data and recommends programs to meet client needs.
  • Prepares proposals with the Director of Sales and Marketing that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs.
  • Solicits files on a timely basis to confirm business.
  • Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new clients.
  • Contacts in-house customers to foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals to other Brand Hotels.
  • Reviews individual goals on a quarterly basis; recommends and takes appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result areas.
  • Any other additional responsibilities that might be assigned from time to time.
  • Negotiating with clients and coordinating major banquet events with the operational departments in order to ensure guest expectations are met and opens up the opportunity for future events.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Minimum graduation from a reputed / well recognized university or Graduation in Hotel Management
