JOB PURPOSE: BRAC is a lead implementing partner of the Global Affairs Canada funded "Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladeshi Community and Rohingya Women Youths in Cox`s Bazar", which seeks to identify strategies to address livelihood challenges of both host communities and Rohingya refugees in Cox`s Bazar district and Bhashanchar, with a particular focus on challenges faced by women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups while contributing to alleviate tensions between both communities. The project will work with multi-level stakeholders to deliver the skills and livelihood development programmes and bring about necessary systems change.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Qualifications
Masters preferably in Management/ Social Science/ Economics/ Development Studies/ Public Administration/ International Relations or any other relevant discipline from any reputed university from any recognised university.
