One person was killed and at least 50 others fell ill as a gas cylinder of an ice factory in Barguna's Patharghat upazila exploded early today. The deceased was identified as Shahjahan alias Samrat, 50, a mechanic of the factory, reports our local correspondent quoting Shahabuddin, officer-in-charge of Patharghata Police Station.
