Agriculture Minister Dr Mohammad Abdur Razzaque Sunday said the country needs to be self sufficient in terms of food production to combat any famine-like crisis. He said: “If we witness any food crisis or famine due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it might be difficult to get food from global sources even if we have enough money to offer.”
