Extensive crop fields in the southern part of Jashore's Sharsha upazila have become submerged under water from India's Ichamati River. Paddy fields, including those cultivating Aush and Aman, have also been submerged, Anisur Rahman, deputy assistant agriculture officer of the district's Kayba Union told our local correspondent.
