The results of 1,951 students of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Chittagong Education Board (CEB) have changed after re-evaluation.
After re-scrutiny, 1951 more examinees have secured GPA-5 in Mathematics in SSC examination, 2016 as 1115 candidates got Golden GPA-5 and 836 secured GPA-5 in Mathematics, reports BSS.
Now the total number of Golden GPA-5 holders is 3,106 and that of GPA-5 holders is 8,502, said CEB controller of examinations Mahbub Hasan.
Following allegations, all the objective answer scripts belonging to Sets-Ga and Gha of Mathematics were re-examined and it was found that the answer sheets of the two sets were not examined properly, he added.
"It is a very new incident for us and as soon as we received complaints regarding it, we re-examined the answer sheets", he added.
