The Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has published the results of the 13th Teachers' Registration Exam (Preliminary).
This time, 91,546 have cleared the hurdle in the school level and 55,698 in the college level, the education ministry said in a media statement on Monday.
It said altogether 325,728 sat the May 13 exam to become school level teachers and 202,029 college level teachers in 20 districts and eight divisional cities.
Altogether, 527,757 aspirants have passed the preliminary test for both levels, making the pass rate 27.90 percent.

Now, those who have cleared the preliminary exams will take the written test on Aug 12 and 13, and those who pass it will face the viva.
The final result of the 13th Teachers’ Registration Exam will be published later on.
NTRCA certification is mandatory for anyone wanting to teach at a private school or college.
The NTRCA started taking the test in 2005 to ensure that the managing bodies of the private institutions can only hire teachers certified by it.
