Arijit Singh's Vocals Might Be Replaced By Rahat Fateh Ali Khan In Salman-Starrer 'Sultan'

Singer Arijit Singh's public apology to actor Salman Khan is the latest talk of the town in Bollywood. The 'Tum Hi Ho' singer posted a note on his Facebook page apologising to Khan on 24 May, but later deleted it.

It emerged that the Dabangg (2010) star was upset over an incident involving Singh that occurred at an awards show two years ago, when the two traded sarcastic comments. It was reported that Khan was miffed at Singh for his off-the-cuff remarks.

Singh, even before last week, had apologised many times for the incident. When he was asked to sing for Sultan, he thought the feud between them had ended; however, upon later hearing rumours that his song 'Jag Ghumiya' had been axed from the film, he wrote that open letter and continued apologising furiously, saying that as a huge fan of the actor, he'd like to retire with one song featuring him in his library.

However, it seems as though his worst fears have been confirmed: his version of the song will, indeed, not be heard in Sultan.

The version featuring his vocals has been axed and Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has reportedly replaced him, for the same song.
