BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today came down heavily on Awami League leaders for their “irresponsible feedback” on his party’s “Vision 2030” agenda.
“They have termed the Vision 2030 as worthless and unrealistic. But the fact, Awami League is determining its activities after copying BNP’s philosophy,” he added.
“We expect responsible attitude from them,” Fakhrul said while addressing a discussion programme organised by Centre for National & Regional Research Studies at Jatiya Press Club.
In response to criticism from quarters about Jamaat’s place in Vision-2030, Fakhrul said the Islamist party will stay with BNP during political movement to establish people’s government in the country.
“BNP’s alliance with Jamaat is political, nothing more. It was not necessary to mention about the nature of BNP’s relation with Jamaat in Vision 2030,” he said.
