Bangladesh National Museum screened Japanese box-office hit film Tora-san’s Sunrise and Sunset at its auditorium on Saturday.
The film was screened as part of the museum’s Juvenile and World Classic Film Show project.
Tora-san’s Sunrise and Sunset is a film which belongs to a Japanese film series on a kind-hearted vagabond who is always unlucky in love.
The series has been running successfully for four decades in Japan with 48 films made till date.
Directed by Yoji Yamada, Tora-san’s Sunrise and Sunset depicts how Tora-san helps out a geisha, a traditional Japanese female entertainer, whose life savings gets stolen.
