Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been slapped with a one-match ban for slow over rate.
The Bangladesh captain disclosed this while attending a press briefing after the third ODI that Bangladesh lost by 70 runs against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Ssports Club ground in Colombo today.
The ban means that Mashrafe will miss Bangladesh's first ODI against Ireland on May 12. The tri-nation tournament also involves New Zealand ahead of Bangladesh's Champions Trophy campaign in June.
