The guests will start arriving on March 31 Friday, with police implementing security measures around the airport and hotels.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the IPU conference slated to start from Friday.
The conference will take place over April 1-5. Restrictions will be placed on several roads for security purposes.
On April 1, no cars will be allowed to travel from Aarong to Farmgate via Manik Mia Avenue on from 5:30pm to 10pm.
No cars, other than residents and will be allowed to go towards the Defence Ministry from the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre crossing on April 1-5 from 7am to 10pm. People using this road are advised to travel via Sher-e-Bangla Krishi University and RAB 2 offices in Agargaon.
The Agargaon Link Road will not be accessible for vehicles coming from Jahangir Gate. They will have to take a detour via Agargaon crossing.
Dignitaries from all over the globe will be arriving on March 31 Friday. The police will have intensive security measures in place.
DMP requests those with Friday flights to set out early to avoid being delayed at check posts and heavy traffic.
