Only centre secretary allowed to carry cell phone during SSC exams

The education minister, Nurul islam Nahid, on Tuesday said from this year no one except centre secretary would be allowed to carry cell phones in the examination halls of Secondary School Certificate and equivalent Dakhil and vocational examinations.

Talking to the reporters at the secretariat, the minister said the centre secretary would be allowed to carry phone but that must not be a smart phones. The decision was taken so that no one could take photo of the question papers from the examination centres, Nurul added.

Secondary School Certificate and equivalent Dakhil and vocational examinations will begin on February 2 while a total of 17,86,613 students from 28,344 institutions across the country would take part in the examinations this year.
