US, India, Japan working to get World Bank back: Mozena
US Ambassador Dan W Mozena on Wednesday said several friendly countries of Bangladesh including US, India and Japan have been working for the withdrawal of the cancellation of Padma bridge project.

The WB has also actively engaged in revival process of the loan, the US envoy said.
Mozena made the comment emerging from a meeting with Finance Minister AMA Muhit at the finance ministry this morning.
"I am hopeful that the discussion which is going on between Bangladesh and World Bank about the revival of the loan will come out successful," said the US ambassador.
Earlier in the morning, Muhit told journalists that he is hopeful of the revival of the loan for the Padma bridge project.
"Prime minister asked me to do whatever necessary for restoration of the Padma bridge project loan", the finance minister said after seeing the premier off at the Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.
PM's absence due to NAM conference in Iran will not create any problem in taking any decision in this regard, he added.
