Only demand is restoration of CG: Fakhrul
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said dialogue may only take place on who would be the chief adviser of a caretaker government.

Fakhrul's comment came at a "Meet the Press" program at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital.
"(At the moment) our only demand is for reinstatement of the caretaker government system before the national election.
Discussions may take place to decide whether the chief justice or someone else would be the next chief adviser," said Fakhrul.
"As a constitutional party, we only welcome the like-minded parties or organisations. We will not accept any undemocratic force rather we will resist them", said the acting secretary general.
He also stressed the need for holding a free, fair and neutral election so that people would accept it.
He also demanded an end to extra-judicial killings.
Fakhrul blamed the government for the ongoing political crises and appealed to bring an end to it.
