Germany a trusted friend of Bangladesh: Dipu Moni
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni has termed Germany as a trusted friend and a dependable development partner of Bangladesh.

The Foreign Minister made the remark when outgoing German Ambassador to Bangladesh Holger Michael made a farewell call on her at the Foreign Ministry today (Tuesday).
Dipu Moni said a good number of high level visits between the two countries took place during Ambassador Michael’s three-year tenure intensifying associations between the two governments, civil societies, universities and business communities.
Expressing her satisfaction at the intense engagement between Bangladesh and Germany she said bilateral cooperation has increased in a number of areas in recent years.
The German Ambassador thanked the Foreign Minister for all the support he received from the Foreign Ministry and the Government, which helped him enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Michael appreciated the progress Bangladesh has been making in various socio-economic areas including women empowerment, health, education, trade and commerce.
