Sagar-Runi murder: Nobody knows when investigation ends
Home minister advocate Sahara Khatun on Wednesday said that The investigation into Sagar-Runi murder and Elias Ali missing cases are underway. The government is trying to give its best to settle the matters.

She told that nobody can tell when the investigation into journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Mehrun Runi murder case will be ended.
She came up with the remarks while addressing a regional workshop on ‘South Asia’s initiative in preventing international terrorism’ at a city hotel on Wednesday.
Sahara said, “The government has taken strong action against terrorist and militant organizations like Jamatul Mujahidin and Hizbut Tahrir. Now a day, terrorism is not only the concern of Bangladesh, it is an international crisis. We all have to be united against terrorism.”
Regarding the issue of Sagar-Runi murder, she said, “We have nothing to say about the protest programmes of journalists. The government has taken all necessary measures to ensure the justice in this regard.”
