BNP-led 18-party’s mass demo in afternoon
The BNP-led 18-party alliance will bring out a mass procession in the capital Monday afternoon, demanding details of the whereabouts of missing BNP leader M Elias Ali, withdrawal of 'false cases' against party leaders and release of the detained activists.

The procession will begin from the BNP's main office at Nayapaltan at 4:00pm. The procession is scheduled to end at Moghbazar touching Shantinagar and Malibagh.
In another development, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia called a standing committee meeting at her Gulshan residence at 8:30pm, the sources of BNP chief's media wing said.
She will also hold another meeting with the leaders of 18-party alliance at the same venue after the standing committee meeting, the sources added.
The party has so far held four demonstrations this month, including yesterday's.
