'Dacoit' Shahid, his accomplice Kalu killed in shootout with RAB
Shahid, alias Dacoit Shahid, ringleader of a notorious gang of robbers, was killed along with one of his accomplices, Kalu, in a shootout with members of Rab at Sadarghat in the capital shortly after Tuesday midnight.

RAB sources said Shahid and members of his gang opened fire on them when they raided the area acting on secret information, triggering a gunfight at 12-05 am.
At one stage, Shahid and his cohort Kalu were hit by bullets and died on the spot at 12:30 am.
However, the rest of the gangsters managed to escape, leaving behind the bodies of Shahid and Kalu.
Rab said they recovered two pistols from the spot.
