ACC quizzes SNC-Lavalin's local agent

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday interrogated a Bangladeshi agent of the Canadian company SNC-Lavalin in connection with ‘graft’ in Padma bridge project.

The ACC quizzed Ziaul Haque, managing director of Engineering and Planning Consultant Limited, the local agent of SNC-Lavalin, for an hour from 9:30am.

Two deputy directors of the ACC -- Meer Joynal Abedin Shibli and Mirza Zahidul Alam -- interrogated him, said Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, public relation officer of the ACC.
