Say no to eve-teasing in Jessore-2 youths jailed
A mobile court in Abhoynagar upazila of Jessore on Sunday sentenced two youths to 15 days imprisonment each for harassing a schoolgirl.
The convicts were identified as Liton Sarder, son of Moslem Sarder and Tariqul Islam, son of Ikram Gazi of Panchkabar area of Noapara thana.
Police said Liton and Tariqul used to sexually harass the girl of the same village for a long time.
The spoilt youths waylaid the girl on her way to a private coaching center on Saturday evening. Later, hearing her screams local people caught Liton and Tariqul and handed them over to police
Later, they were produced before the mobile court led by Abhoynagar upazila assistant commissioner (Land) Mokhlesur Rahman who awarded the punishment this (Sunday) morning.
