'Bomb' scare suspends rail communication in Dinajpur
The rail communication between Dinajpur-Panchagarh and Dinajpur-Thakurgaon remained suspended since Saturday morning as a suspicious box was found lying on railway track at Bochaganj upazila in Dinajpur.

Locals saw the box-like object from which two wires came out lying on the rail track around 400 meters away from Bochaganj Railway Station at about 9:00am and informed railway master Shawkat Ali.
On information, the railway master suspended the schedule of four trains which were programmed to run in the three northern districts, reports our Dinajpur correspond quoting Zia Shamsun Noor, the officer-in-charge of Bochaganj Police Station.
A bomb disposal team led by Maj Masud from Syedpur Cantonment was on way to the scene when this report was filed around 12noon.
Of the scheduled trains, three were freight while another was for passengers.
Dinajpur and Rangpur circle police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
