Fahmida Nabi in TV serial’s title track

Popular singer Fahmida Nabi has paid vocal for a title track, which was composed by renowned music composer Farid Ahmed, of a 104-episode drama serial titled “Jibon-er Rong”. The drama serial was directed by Moin Khan Rupi, while lyrics of the track was composed by Hridoy.

Recording of the track was done in Farid Ahmed’s own studio ‘Base’ in the city’s New Eskaton area on Monday night. Title of the track is: “Aamader songsar-e koto rongin swapno ure, gore uthe kokhono rupkothar golpo.”

While sharing her feelings in Farid Ahmed’s composition Fahmida told this correspondent, “Before contributing vocal I always have some mental preparations. But in case of the title track, I have lot of preparations in this regard. Farid bhai is an outstanding composer. This composition is very nice. I enjoyed it while rendering the track. I hope listeners will also enjoy it.”

On the other hand, Farid Ahmed said, “I have composed the tune to keep in mind the vocal of Fahmida apa. She has rendered well. She has given enough time in recording to make a successful journey.”

In 2000, Fahmida Nabi gave vocal for title track of a drama serial named “Megh-er Aaral-e,” which was directed by Mizanur Rahman Labu. Farid Ahmed was also composer of that track.

The serial “Jibon-er Rong” will go on air in any satellite channel. Hillol, Nadia, Somu Chowdhury, Homayra Himu, Sharmin Shila, Jyotika Jyoti, Dolly Zahur, Rasheda K Chowdhury, Arman Parvez Murad, among others, performed in different roles in the serial.

It is mentioned that Fahmida Nabi firstly contributed in playback track in movie “Durdesh.” Till now she has contributed 20 playback tracks. Her debut album “Tumi Tulonahina” was released under the banner of ‘Sur Sourav’ in 1989.

He has 11 solo albums in the audio markets. Her last released album was “Akash Samudra Opar,” which was released under the banner of G-Series.
