Syed Abul Hossain resigns finally

Syed Abul Hossain resigned from Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister on Monday.
Abul skips weekly cabinet meeting:
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Syed Abul Hossain did not join the schedule weekly cabinet meeting on Monday, which flares up the speculation of his resignation from the cabinet.
Rumors are spreading on the power corridors of the government for a couple of days that the minister is going to resign from his post as the finance minister on
Sunday hinted that the government is seriously considering to accept the fourth condition of The World Bank in order to persuade the leading creditor of Padma Bridge fund to change its decision.
The rumors gained momentum when an open letter of the former communications minister,
addressed himself only as a member of the Jatiya Sangsad, hinting to step down from the cabinet, published in Monday’s edition of different newspapers.
Notifying his absence from cabinet meeting unnoticed, Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said any cabinet member has to inform first if he/she seeks a leave of absence from a scheduled meeting.
About resignation of Abul Hossain, the cabinet secretary also said he had no knowledge about the issue.
