Indian company gets Banglalink’s tower biz
Kuippo Telecom, Indian SREI group owned telecom tower company, acquired the tower management contract of Banglalink, second largest mobile phone operator company, a nearly Rs 3,000 crore (4387, 11, 90,772.79 BDT) bid.

Banglalink, a subsidiary of Egypt-based Orascom Telecom, has 5, 200 towers across the country.
SREI group`s Arun Kapur is leading the negotiation. Sources said the tower management business will help to increase money flow of the company.
But, a source of BTRC informed that tower management by another company is the violation of law. So BTRC is observing the matter.
When contacted, banglalink head of marketing Shihab Ahmed did not receive the phone call.
